In addition to the Microsoft Tech Center, another developing “jewel” in the West Valley is the much anticipated Desert Diamond West Valley Resort and Casino, in Glendale, AZ.  After opening the temporary casino in 2015, construction crews broke ground on phase 1 of the permanent site in December 2017 (see before/after image above, courtesy of NearMap).  The 75,000 square-foot casino is expected to open at the end of 2019 and includes 5 restaurants, a spa, 2 parking structures, and more.  The next phase in the development will be the construction of the resort, which officials hope to have completed by 2023 in preparation for Super Bowl LVII which will be held, just down the road from the casino, at State Farm Stadium.  The project has created over 1,500 construction jobs and is expected to employ 1,600 people once it is in operation.  The economic impact of this new attraction is bound to be huge for the West Valley.  read more

In 2015 Landiscor released new Aerial Wall Map Murals for the 4 major Texas markets and Houston was at the top of the list.  With the previous update coming in 2012, real estate firms, utilities and government agencies in the Houston were in desperate need of new maps.  Recognizing this need, Landiscor went to work on our Houston Aerial Map Mural.  After locating an imagery source and investing many hours of research to updating the data displayed across the aerial wall map, a new version was released.
